View Purchase OptionsContemporary Brush is a retro handwritten brush script with an energetic, mid-century feel. Its painted strokes and bold, casual rhythm give layouts a lively, human touch that feels expressive rather than polished, making it a strong choice when you want lettering with vintage personality.
Tagged with 1940s, 1950s, and 1960s influences, this family is especially well suited to poster work, branding, packaging, signage, and other display uses that benefit from a warm, nostalgic voice. It comes in 3 styles—Regular, Bold, and Extra Bold—so you can move from a lighter brush look to a fuller, more emphatic headline treatment while keeping the same character.
Published by URW++, this family offers a practical range for designers who want vintage brush lettering with enough variation to build a cohesive look across titles, labels, and standout graphic applications.
