Scorcher evokes the full-speed- ahead livery of stock car racing, the calligraphic flow of squeezed toothpaste, or an inferno of dancing flames.

Technically it is a monoline italic with flicked terminals and a tight letter-fit. Intended for headline use, it is shown to best advantage in punchy logos, short sentences and catchphrases. Alternate versions of the Q allow the tail to be extended under the following letters.
